In November 2012 SZ senior cameraman Simon Enderby returned once again to Guadalupe Island, Mexico, in search of great white sharks with TV Presenter Steve Backshall for Discovery’s new TV series Swimming with Monsters, produced by Spungold TV. However this time round Simon & Steve were looking for the opportunity to leave the protective shark cages behind and head out into the blue waters with the sharks on their own terms. With 6 great whites circling them at the same time Simon & Steve ventured out and alongside a 16 foot female for an encounter of a life time. Watch clips from the shoots on Discovery’s site.
